A Truly Private Proposal Experience
When I arrived at the Dallas Arboretum, I met with their event coordinator, who guided me to Orchid Hollow—a lush, romantic garden tucked away from the main paths. The area was roped off for complete privacy, and anytime guests wandered too close, the coordinator politely let them know it was reserved for a private event. This added an extra layer of exclusivity, ensuring the moment remained intimate and uninterrupted.
A Surprise with Family Present
What made this proposal even more special? Both sides of the family had secretly traveled from across Texas to witness the big moment! My client had been in Dallas for a work trip and brought his girlfriend along, knowing she’d never suspect a proposal—let alone with all their loved ones waiting in hiding.
Before the couple arrived, I captured candid shots of the families chatting excitedly and photos of the beautifully set-up proposal spot near a tranquil fountain. As the couple strolled down the steps, the moment she spotted her family was pure magic—her face lit up with shock and joy.
He led her to the fountain, got down on one knee, and she said YES! The emotions were unforgettable—tears, laughter, and so much love.
